The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce announces the next ‘Coffee with Your Commissioner’ program for Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, 961687 Gateway Blvd., Suite 101-G, Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Meetings with individual Commissioners will be scheduled periodically throughout the year. The program gives Chamber of Commerce members the opportunity to discuss topics in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. There is no agenda for these meetings. The event also gives the Commissioners a chance to learn more about businesses within their district.
This month’s guest is City of Fernandina Beach Commissioner Philip Chapman. Within the first day of living in Fernandina Beach, Commissioner Chapman knew the island would be his forever home. After retiring from a thirty-eight-year career as an educator and administrator, he knew he wanted to get involved in the community and started volunteering with different organizations on the island. After attending every City Commission meeting for nearly 3 years, Chapman gained valuable knowledge of the issues facing our community and what mattered most to the people who call Fernandina Beach home.
Coffee with Your Commissioner is free for Chamber members and $25.00 for prospective members. Advanced payment and registration are always preferred. CLICK HERE for more information or call (904) 261-3248.
