Thank you for participating in the 2018 Arts and Crafts Fair, hosted by the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9:00a.m. until 2:00pm at the Callahan Train Depot located at 45383 Dixie Avenue. Attached you will find a list of vendors and booth assignment numbers along with a map of the area. Booth assignments are final.
The following serves as a reminder of the rules and process for the event:
Weather: The fair will continue unless there is truly severe weather such as lightening or hail. IN THE EVENT OF EXREMELY INCLEMENT WEATHER OR DISASTER OR EVENT WHERE THE SAFETY OF THE PARTICIPANT’S AND SPECTATOR’S OF THE ARTS & CRAFT SHOW MAY BE AN ISSUE, THE NASSAU COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE SHOW AT ANY TIME.
Set Up: Set up time starts at 7 AM, Saturday, December 1, 2018, and must be completely set up before 9:00 a.m. that day. Please secure your tents and displays in the event of wind or rain. Sand buckets, water weights, and/or tie-straps would be helpful. Booths are not to be broken down prior to the close of the event at 2:00 p.m.
Exhibitors will provide own display set-up.
No pets allowed.
Personal items must be kept under tables. Display racks and tables shall be kept neat. Table cloths/table skirts are encouraged.
To avoid a flea market atmosphere, we request that booth proprietors refrain from “markdowns” sale items except for the final two hours of the Fair.
Children must be supervised properly.
If you are uncertain of your booth location, do not begin set-up until you have spoken with the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce staff or volunteers. An information booth will be set up next to the Train Depot and clearly marked ‘Nassau County Chamber of Commerce’.
Craft demonstrations are encouraged.
This is a family-oriented event, controversial items that could be interpreted as offensive will NOT be permitted. The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to require that improper items be removed. Should this occur, the vendor will be pulled from the art fair and the entry fee will NOT be refunded, and the entry will not be permitted to enter next year`s event. The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce retains the right to refuse any application they deem not suitable for the venue. There is no appeal and their decision is final. No display of a sexual, immoral, or items of an offensive nature will be allowed.
Please remember, every exhibitor is responsible for a thorough clean- up of their area. Please dispose of ALL food and trash in dumpsters provided. Violators will not be allowed to participate next year. All tents, tables, and displays are to be removed.
No homemade food items of any kind shall be provided. Food products must be from approved sources such as an inspected and permitted food establishment or licensed mobile food establishment adhering to all Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. (Requires separate application and fee).
