National Drug Take Back Day
The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to organize a "Drug Take Back Day". This event offers our community the chance to dispose of old prescription drugs, vitamins, and similar items responsibly, preventing them from entering our trash, landfills, or waterways. 
Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
All drop-off locations are detailed on the flyer.
By participating, we contribute to keeping these substances away from potential misuse or accidental ingestion.
Please note that we cannot accept liquids or syringes in this Take Back Program.
