Sarah Campbell Selected as City Manager

The City Commission at their September 5, 2024, Special Meeting, endorsed Ms. Sarah Campbell as its next City Manager. Staff will begin negotiating an employment agreement which the City Commission will subsequently approve at a future date.

Executive recruiting firm, Colin Baenziger & Associates, embarked on an extensive search earlier this year. The pool narrowed to five candidates, with four ultimately traveling to Fernandina Beach to be interviewed.

Ms. Campbell has worked in the Town of Orange Park for 16 years, most recently serving as Town Manager. As a member in good standing with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), Ms. Campbell holds herself to a high degree of accountability in commission interactions, community engagement, and personal conduct.
