Janice Ancrum to Speak at Chamber of Commerce EmpowHER Luncheon
The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the next EmpowHER! Luncheon scheduled for Monday, June 24, 2024, from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, located at 2800 Bill Melton Road in Fernandina Beach.
EmpowHER! is a professional women's network that enhances the personal and professional growth of businesswomen in Nassau County. Luncheons include guided roundtable discussions on trending topics, an inspiring speaker, and mentoring and partnership opportunities that will help drive careers.
June's guest speaker will be Janice Ancrum, President & CEO of Nassau County Council on Aging (NCCOA). Janice has over 40 years of combined government and nonprofit leadership experience, specializing in strategic leadership, grants management, and program compliance. Since November 2012, she has spearheaded NCCOA's efforts in providing vital programs and services to seniors in Nassau County, including the establishment of the Fernandina Beach Senior Life Center, which was recently renamed the Janice Ancrum Senior Life Center. Under her leadership, Nassau County Council on Aging has received substantial appropriations, such as the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders® Award, and Janice herself has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the community.
