Nassau County 2023 Annual Report

As part of the Winter Strategic Planning Sessions held on February 29 and March 1, 2024, County Manager Taco Pope presented the County Manager's 2023 Annual Report. This document highlights achievements, projects, and initiatives of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), county staff and management for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. This report provides great insight into the County's operations, progress in executing directives of the elected body, and the priories of the BOCC. 

"As we wrap up another challenging, yet productive year, it's important that we focus on all the achievements that have taken place. The Board's administration aligns the publication of the Annual Report with the Winter Strategic Planning Session to ensure that the directives and identified priorities are being achieved. This document only scratches the surface of all the amazing work that the employees of Nassau County have executed during the past twelve months. The BOCC has continued to create lasting public value through the formulation of sound public policy and the allocation of resources to execute those policy directives,  Based upon this strong foundation, we can look forward to continued success in FY 23/24."
