Early Voting in Nassau County Begins August 7, 2024
Nassau County, FL, 7/31/24– Early voting for the Primary Election will be available starting Wednesday, August 7, through Saturday, August 17, from 9 am to 6 pm. Nassau County voters can vote early at five conveniently located early voting sites throughout the county. Pursuant to F.S. 101.021, Florida is a closed primary state, and voters can only voter for the candidate from their party except when there is a Universal Primary. In Nassau County, there are seven Universal Primary races that are in the upcoming primary election.

Atlantic Rec Center - 2500 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach
Hilliard Community Center – 37177 Pecan Street, Hilliard
James S. Page Governmental Complex – 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee
Walter Junior Boatright County Building – 45401 N Mickler Street, Callahan
Yulee Sports Complex – 86142 Goodbread Road, Yulee
“Voters may choose to vote at any of the five early voting sites, regardless of where they live in the county.”, states Janet H. Adkins, Nassau County Supervisor of Elections.
Voters are reminded to bring their current and valid photo and signature I.D. to vote. Each early voting site has a Secure Ballot Intake Station for voters to return their vote-by-mail ballot during voting hours. Mail ballots deposited in each Secure Ballot Intake Station are returned daily to the Supervisor of Elections office for processing. State law does not allow Secure Ballot Intake Stations to be available on Election Day.
