Chamber to Host Legislative Update with Senator Clay Yarborough
Join the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce for a Legislative Update on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, located at 2800 Bill Melton Road in Fernandina Beach.
Guest speaker Senator Clay Yarborough grew up in Northeast Florida, graduated from UNF with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and worked at UPS for 15 years before accepting a position with the First Coast Manufacturers Association. He served eight years on the Jacksonville City Council, including a term as president, six years in the Florida House of Representatives, and is now a Florida Senator. His priorities include the safety of our schools and communities, economic growth, defending innocent lives and parents’ abilities to make educational choices for their children, and maintaining Florida as an attractive place to live and work.
Senator Yarborough will discuss various topics including recent legislative actions, upcoming bills, and their potential effects on Nassau County and the business community.
The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting and promoting local businesses, fostering economic growth, and enhancing quality of life throughout the region.
The Legislative Update Luncheon is $28.00 for Nassau County Chamber of Commerce members and $50.00 for prospective members. Advanced payment and registration are required in order to attend.
