"Leadership Nassau has been an amazing experience! I look forward to our events each month. As a Social Director, Leadership Nassau has opened the doors for new activities and events that I have been able to bring back to my Members. The benefits of the program are immeasurable and I am so grateful!"
Mary Hamburg, Osprey Village
"The AIFBY Chamber’s community calendar is fantastic!"
Nan Kavanaugh, First Coast Magazine
"Best Practice. That what appears to drive the AIFBY Chamber and its programing. From start-up to expansion, Regina and her staff knows business, knows people and knows how to help Folio Media House get results for our advertisers. You can count on our renewal every year!"
Sam Taylor, Folio Media House
“Thank you for the excellent support in helping to advertise, prepare for, and conduct today’s SCORE workshop. You were each so helpful along the way. We were very pleased with the venue, the support, and the turn out. Nana Teresa’s was a great recommendation for the pastries …. Plus it is support for a local small business. We look forward continuing our strong relationship with you. “
David Kasun, SCORE
"I wanted to thank you for your support and partnership of this morning’s gathering to feature our three phases of FDOT construction projects along A1A/State Road 200. I know plenty of conversations were exchanged before the meeting (alongside our displayed project maps) and I am glad your members were able to have that time for those discussions with our team of representatives."
Odette I. Struys, Florida Department of Transportation
"I found Sales Training very helpful and Shari was a terrific speaker, who was able to engage everyone and speak to each individual business. I also learned several things I had not thought of before."
Serey Andree, Fern & Dina's Gallery and Gifts
"As a small business owner I found the Sales Training Class to be especially helpful for my business. We sent four team member to the three hour class. All of them returned to work with notes on what they learned and enthusiastic about implementing the new strategies. We are an independent business that doesn’t have the training resources of a larger company or the budget to send our staff to weekend seminars. We will likely make up the financial investment in less than a week."
Mike Zaffaroni, Liberty Landscape Supply
"Thank you to all of the Chamber Members and Ambassadors for making our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony a memorable one. We are truly grateful for everything you guys do for us and the community!"
Dr. Jayde Gray, 8 Flags Chiropractic
"When I decided to open my small business here 3 years ago I wasn’t sure where to start. Luckily the Amelia Island Fernandina Beach Yulee Chamber of commerce gave me a door way into the local community of businesses. There are great people and fellow small business owners in the Chamber that helped guide me through those early times of starting a business and I am proud to say that I still have and treasure those relationships. From the networking events to the training, the AIFBY is an essential resource for any business owner that is looking to join our community. You won’t regret it, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the Chamber."
Dr. Kevin Lin, Precision Chiropractic
"My husband and I are fairly new to Amelia Island and we never dreamed that we would have a business here. After all we are supposed to be thinking about retirement not second careers! But we started Amelia Toffee exactly a year ago and we thought we would really have just a seasonal business. We met Stacy Cruikshank in December and she introduced us to the Chamber. Both my husband and I have been involved and members of chambers in other states. Those chambers did a great job at hosting events but did nothing to connect businesses to help stimulate partnerships and ultimately sales. The Amelia Island Chamber is amazing in that regard...shortly after joining Regina and Stacy promoted my business and helped me develop the relationships with the resorts on the island. In addition, they spent many hours searching for a commercial kitchen for me....and the most recent task they have done for me is connect me to the autistic adult community. I now employ an autistic adult to help us apply labels. PLUS the chamber has provided their conference room so my assistant feels like he is in a work environment. Can you tell I LOVE our chamber and am so very proud to be a member?????"
Anita Comisky, Founder, Amelia Toffee Company
"Stacy and the rest of the people working at the AIFBY Chamber are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to help their members make new connections. The AIFBY Chamber has played a major role in my business success and I cannot thank them enough for their efforts. When it comes to networking opportunities, the AIFBY chamber is by far the best in the greater Jacksonville area. If you are thinking about joining, I highly recommend that you do!"
Brian Suggs, YP Marketing Solutions
"As many of you have heard me say, I am beyond proud of our Chamber. We are part of a Chamber that truly cares about our Chamber members and our community. I have been a member of many chamber organizations and none of them begin to compare to our AIFBY Chamber and the icing on the cake....our Chamber staff is awesome!"
Nancy Dervaes, United Healthcare Medicare Solutions
"You rock! Making my life just that much easier. Thanks for all you do!"
Taran O’Grady, Legal Assistant, Jacobs Scholz & Associates, LLC
"Three years ago when we purchased Amelia Home Health Services (home medical equipment) one of the first things we did was join the AIFBY Chamber of Commerce. It was one of the best “shortcuts” to getting connected within the island community. Regina Duncan and her staff members are always welcoming and have helped us with marketing through the chamber magazine and website, keeping up with A1A construction and in general making us feel part of the AIFBY Chamber family!"
Linda and Jeff Gould, Amelia Home Health Services Inc. DBA Amelia Mobility and Wellness
"What the chamber means to me, the company I represent and our community is too much to express in a few words... harder to believe is that I would try to be one of few words ;) Regina Duncan, Stacey Cruikshank, Nicole Maurer and all the other wonderful members of the chamber including ambassadors are so supportive of everyone's ambitious dreams to aspire to be more and have more. Helpful, encouraging and caring always for ways to help your business grow. The relationships with each person is more of a friendship doesn't ever feel like business. Always welcoming with an open heart and warm smiles. The chamber is so supportive within our community and I feel grateful for being a member. I have never been a part of an organization whether social or networking related that has so much heart and we have fun always growing each other businesses. I am also grateful for the other members that support Shapiro Insurance and myself! Thank you to all my chamber peeps! 2 thumbs up I'd give 4 if I had them!"
Jessica Coop, Shapiro Insurance Group
"I can't even describe the ways that the chamber has helped me, with connections, friends, education, and a broader perspective on our great County!"
"The chamber's monthly Net Perks event has been a fabulous resource for my business. In three of the four most recent gatherings, I have closed business as a direct result of having been in attendance."
Bill Lewis, Comcast Business
"thanks for working so hard for all of us...everything you do and the chamber does for all of us...does not go unnoticed...just wanted y'all to know you are appreciated..."
Lisa Jones, Jack & Diane's
"It’s been really great to work with you. I count Main Street as one of the major success stories of the eight years I spent here, and it wouldn’t have been accomplished without you, your hard work and that of the Chamber. I’m also happy that the City and Chamber have a better relationship, and I hope that continues moving forward."
Adrienne Burke, City of Fernandina Beach
"Since changing roles at First Federal back in 4QR15, I have been able to attend many more Chamber events on behalf of the bank. I LOVE our local Chamber! In a word, it is “fresh”! They are constantly changing things up with the meeting format, which is refreshing! We were fortunate to have hosted the first NetPerk Chamber event last year, and the feedback was terrific! We captured a different crowd as compared with Business After Hours. Another way they keep it fresh is by introducing “Show and Tell” spotlights at the Yulee Council Chamber meetings. What a fun and interesting way to get to know Chamber members on a more personal basis, as well as share business products, services and/or promotions in a creative manner! I know I had fun telling people about my African money pouch from the early 1900s during the February 9th meeting as well as letting them know about our $400 checking promo!
Our county’s geography may be a hindrance to some business owners, but Regina, Stacy and their staff find ways to host meetings and special events to include everyone throughout the county. That’s important.
Since I started attending more Chamber events, my sales activity and close ratio has significantly improved. Consistently being at these business functions allows business owners and influencers to get to know me better (as well as my wife Karen), and helps us create “top of mind” awareness for the bank. Having moved here in the late ‘80s, I know a lot of business owners and referral sources in the area. The Chamber functions allows me to interact with them more often, and perhaps when they have a banking need. It also allows me to meet the new Chamber members moving into the area.
Just wanted to share some recent successes, and let you know how appreciate I am to have our “fun, exciting & fresh” Chamber staff!"
Mike Mickler, First Federal Bank of Florida
"I cannot express to you how much I enjoy being a part of the Chamber. I have attended numerous networking groups, activities, as well as other Chambers and none of them come close to upholding the same caliber of standards as the AIFBY Chamber. I believe the main aspect that sets your Chamber apart from others is the staff you have at the helm. Regina Duncan and Stacy Cruikshank (as well as others) are at the top of their fields and add a level of professionalism that is not always displayed in business these days. In addition, they add a personal element to every interaction to the point a person always feels welcomed. They have brought innovation to the Chamber and have helped to better develop and encourage growth within all of the various networking groups. They consistently look for ways to help business owners and community members grow and help each other. For example, they encourage members such as myself to join the Ambassador and mentoring programs to help others grow. It has been a pleasure over the last few years to work with such a proficient and innovative staff and I always look forward to seeing the new programs that they will bring forward to the community."
