B&B Theatres announces Grand Opening of the Amelia Island 7

B&B Theatres is pleased to announce that after almost four months of construction, the B&B Theatres Amelia Island 7 is set to open March 9th, 2017.

The B&B Amelia Island 7 has undergone a massive transformation. Every square inch of the building has been gutted with all auditoriums now featuring luxury electric, leather, reclining theatre chairs. The theatre received new carpet, new walls, paint, concession stand, and restrooms. The Amelia Island 7 has a new polish and shine and now creates the ultimate movie going experience for residents and tourists from all over the country.

A new point-of-sale software has been installed, the implementation of which allows reserved seating in all seven auditoriums. Additionally, the software allows guests to participate in the B&B Theatres Backstage Pass Loyalty Program, a rewards system through which repeat guests can earn discounts on tickets, concessions, and other great promotions.

Customers will be excited to learn about the installation of self-serve soda fountains, which will afford them the opportunity to fill their own drinks, mix flavors, and enjoy free refills on all drink sizes. Along with self-serve soda B&B will be offering several other self-serve options such as candy and the butter bar, where guests can add butter and varied flavored seasonings to their popcorn. Lastly, B&B has added their signature Marquee Bar where guest of age can enjoy movie-themed cocktails, beer, and wine before, during or after the show.

Bob Bagby, President of B&B Theatres, said "I am pleased that we are able to work with Tom Wheeler and Dave Berkman of Wheeler/Brand MGT, our landlord in Amelia Island. Dave is a local resident and will frequent the theatre. We have been working on this project with Tom and Dave for almost a year and we look forward to continuing this relationship as we bring a state-of-the-art, first class movie-going experience to the Amelia Island residents and the surrounding area. Our guests will be blown away by our luxury reclining seats and we can't wait to open this week.”

The theatre is the first of its kind in the north Jacksonville/Yulee/Amelia Island area to offer all of these amenities within the same complex. Guests are encouraged to “like” the B&B Theatres Amelia Island 7 Facebook page for more information regarding the opening. Tickets can be purchased at bbtheatres.com
